Christ is born!

Hundreds of parishioners gathered in St Paul's Church in Bedford to celebrate Orthodox Christmas this year.

The Nativity Liturgy was well attended, despite Christmas falling on a working day - a sure sign that the faithful continue to observe their faith in large numbers.

The Christmas period has been especially busy for parish priest Proto-Stavrofor Radmilo Stokić with five services over two days between Bedford and Corby.

At the end of the service, Father Radmilo read aloud the Nativity Encyclical from His Holiness Patriarch Irinej which you can read by clicking here.

The Peace of God, Christ is Born!
